Senior C# Developer

Cryptorefills is looking for a Senior C# Developer to take full ownership of our crypto payment processors, which powers cryptocurrency payments on our platform. You will play a key role in maintaining and evolving our crypto payment system, working closely with the CTO, founder, and backend team to implement new coins and blockchain networks.

This is a full-time, remote position for candidates based in Italy, with flexibility in employment type (self-employed or contract).

Salary

€3,000 – €6,000 (gross) per month

Access to crypto investments, trading, and person-to-person transactions is relatively easy today. However, this only serves a limited scope of needs for these currencies. Using crypto in everyday life, such as buying goods and services, is instead very limited.

Cryptorefills is a website and app that enables users in over 180 countries and territories to spend crypto, including Bitcoin, stablecoins like USDC and USDT, and other digital currencies yet to come. With Cryptorefills, users can recharge their mobile phones, purchase gift cards from top brands like Netflix, Spotify, Google Play, and Apple, and even book flights and hotels directly using crypto.

The Company is a fast-growing fintech firm headquartered in Amsterdam, with a local presence in Milano and Izmir.

Your skills

What you’ll do

  • Lead & maintain: Take full ownership of our Self-hosted crypto payment processor integration, making architectural decisions and driving improvements.
  • Refactor & optimize: Continuously enhance code for performance, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Implement New Coins/Blockchains: Work closely with the CTO, founder, and backend team to integrate additional coins and blockchain networks.
  • Ensure security & reliability: Design and maintain robust payment processing systems with strong security standards.
  • Collaborate & innovate: Participate in daily team stand-ups, code reviews, and brainstorming sessions and knowledge sharing.

Our tech stack

  • Language/Framework: C#, .NET
  • Infrastructure: Docker, AWS (ECS, EC2, RDS), MySQL, and other cloud services
  • Tools & Processes: Git, CI/CD pipelines, agile methodologies, Slack, Trello
  • Crypto/Blockchain: Different blockchains as Ethereum

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Highly skilled in C# and .NET.
  • Passion for clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Experience with backend development, APIs, and payment processing.
  • Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for a critical component.
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written).

Nice to have (but not required)

  • Experience with (crypto) payment processors.
  • Knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies.
  • Experience with Docker, AWS
